ENVIRONMENTAL PERMIT

Each Business and/or Activity, which should have Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA/AMDAL) Environmental Management Effort and Environmental Monitoring Effort (UKL-UPL) is obligatory to have Environmental Permit. Environmental Permit is a permit that is provided to each person who conducts Business and/or Activity, which should have EIA or UKL-UPL in order to protect and to manage the environment as a precondition to obtain a permit of Business and/or Activity. The legislations, which underlie the environmental permit, are:

  1. Act No. 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management.
  2. Government Regulation No. 27 of 2012 on Environmental Permit.
Environmental Permit is obtained through the following activity phases:
  1. The Compilation of EIA and UKL-UPL
  2. The Assessment of EIA and the Review of UKLUPL; and
  3. The Request and Publication of Environmental Permit.
