Just look for the Mark to know that the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fairtradeanz.org\/for-consumers\/what-is-fairtrade\/how-and-where-fairtrade-works\">Fairtrade Premium and Fairtrade Minimum Price<\/a>&nbsp;has been applied to support farmers in building a better quality of life for their families and communities. Including growing better quality beans and confronting challenges like the effects of climate change. It\u2019s win-win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>An espresso shot of facts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.fairtradeanz.org\/app\/uploads\/2020\/09\/30114135\/Fairtraide-PNG-June-2019-147-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Coffee beans drying\" class=\"wp-image-2686\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Why Fairtrade coffee matters:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>50% of all Fairtrade farmers produce coffee<\/li><li>582 coffee producer organisations represent 760,000-plus farmers in 32 countries<\/li><li>18% of all Fairtrade coffee farmers of women<\/li><li>Coffee farmers received $137 million in Fairtrade Premium in three years to enhance their communities<\/li><li>Only 33.8% of Fairtrade-certified coffee is bought on Fairtrade terms.
